David A. Aguilar is a naturalist, astronomer, author and space artist. His expertise lies in presenting the fascinating connections between the universe and ourselves.

He is the award-winning author and illustrator of seven National Geographic books including "ALIEN WORLDS";  "13 PLANETS";  and "SPACE ENCYCLOPEDIA". His next book, "COSMIC CATASTROPHES" will be published by Random House in June 2016.

Mr. Bonestell Goes to Washington! April 2 Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum


APRIL 2, WASH DC: Following the screening, a Q&A will take place with Producer/Director/Writer Douglass M. Stewart, Jr. Joining him will be Co-Producers Ron Miller, renowned space artist and author of more than fifty books about art, science and space, and Melvin Schuetz, Bonestell historian and author of A Chesley Bonestell Space Art ChronologyDr. Michael Neufeld, a Senior Curator of the Space History Department at the National Air and Space Museum, will moderate the Q&A.

Film Screenings of "Chesley Bonestell: A Brush with the Future", a feature-length documentary of an amazing man. David Aguilar appears as onscreen commentator to share his insights about knowing and visiting with Chesley at his studio in Carmel, CA.
